Ethiopia - A getaway (2014)

Ethiopia is a land of natural contrasts; with its vast fertile West, jungles and numerous rivers, Africa's largest continuous mountain ranges and the most UNESCO World Heritage Sites on the Continent.

During a photo workshop organized by Endho Ethiopia Travel we visited Harar, an old city known in Arabic as "the City of Saints" ("Madinat al-Awilya") before to meet the Hamar people, an Omotic community inhabiting southwestern Ethiopia. They are largely pastoralists, so their culture places a high value on cattle.
